How the environment influences behavior? Explained by one of the best neurologists
doctor in Dubai.
In humans the most important
mechanisms by which the environment alters behavior are learning and memory.
Learning is the process by which we acquire knowledge about the world, while
memory is the process by which that knowledge is encoded, stored, and later
retrieved. Many important behavior are learned. Indeed, we are who we are
largely because of what we learn and what we remember. We learn the motor
skills that allow us to master our environment, and we learn languages that
enable us to communicate what we have learned, thereby transmitting cultures
that can be maintained over generations. But not all learning is beneficial.
Learning also produces dysfunctional behavior, and these behavior can, in
the extreme, constitute psychological disorders. The study of learning
therefore is central to understanding behavior disorders as well as normal behavior,
since what is learned can often be unlearned. When psychotherapy is successful
in treating behavior disorders, it often does so by creating an environment
in which people can learn to change their patterns of behavior.
An overview on treatments
1. Multiple sclerosis treatment in Dubai: research suggests a combination of factors is involved. MS is not directly inherited but there does appear to be a genetic component (possibly a combination of certain genes) which makes people more susceptible. Relatives of someone diagnosed with MS have a slightly higher risk of developing the disease.
2. Clinic commits the best practice of video electroencephalogram in Dubai.
3. Nerve Conduction Study in Dubai, is less uncomfortable and requires less cooperation.
4. During muscle twitching treatment in Dubai, I sometimes talks about ‘spaticity’ when describing the stiffness that you may experience.
5. Your diplopia is monocular or binocular and when going to be healed? You will get answer after double vision treatment in Dubai at the clinic.
6. Stroke, a major Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) and Stroke treatment in Dubai can be done at our clinic.
ADHD is a condition with symptoms that include excessive restlessness, poor attention, and impulsive acts, ADHD treatment in Dubai can be done in our clinic.

The memory capability that is
spared in patients with bilateral lesions of the temporal lobe typically
involves learned tasks that have two things in common. First, the tasks tend to
be reflexive rather than reflective in nature and involve habits and motor or
perceptual skills. Second, they do not require conscious awareness or complex
cognitive processes, such as comparison and evaluation. The patient need only
respond to a stimulus or cue, and need not try to remember anything. Thus, when
given a highly complex mechanical puzzle to solve the patient may learn it as
quickly and as well as a normal person, but will not consciously remember
having worked on it previously. When asked why the performance of a task is
much better after several days of practice than on the first day, the patient
may respond, “What are you talking about? I've never done this task before.” Although
these two fundamentally different forms of memory—for skills and for
knowledge—have been demonstrated in detail in amnesia patients with lesions of
the temporal lobe, they are not unique amnesiacs. Cognitive psychologists had
previously distinguished these two types of memory in normal subjects. They
refer to information about how to perform something as implicit memory (also
referred to as non declarative memory), a memory that is recalled
unconsciously. Implicit memory is typically involved in training reflexive
motor or perceptual skills. Factual knowledge of people, places, and things,
and what these facts mean, is referred to as explicit memory (or declarative
memory).
